Plurality
This next section is all about plurality! In NTC, to generate a plural word suffixes are added to the singular word, much like how an "s" is added to a word to make it plural in English. Of course, like English, there are a few irregularities. The standard plural suffix is a vowel called a schwa, which looks like this: [-ə]. But there are a few more we need to look at!

Standard ending
When the word ends in "n" or "m"
When the word ends in "j" or "w"
When the word ends in a vowel
[ˈdæsət] "hand" → [ˈdæsətə] "hands"
[xæləp] "heart" → [ˈxæləpə] "hearts"
[nʌm] "name" → [nʌməˈhʌ] "names"
[nʌˈxʊn] "fingernail" → [nʌxʊnəˈhʌ] "fingernails"
[mʊnəˈjæw] "feather" → [mʊnəˈjæwət] "feathers"
[dæj] "day" → [ˈdæjət] "days"
[ʂʊ] ‘tree’ → [ˈʂʊjət] "trees"
